We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join our team. You will be involved in the entire platform stack, which is a distributed system composed of dozens of modules, written mostly in Java 7, using frameworks such as SpringBoot, Angular, hibernate, Apache Tomcat…. You will also develop high-quality code for our existing and new software products, with high availability and scalability standards, frequent releases thanks to CI and automated deployment.

Your day-to-day will consist of

  • Developing new components of a micro-service oriented architecture in HA
  • Working with the newest technologies and languages such as functional-style Java 8
  • Identifying and communicating improvements that increase performance, scalability and software quality
  • Delivering tested quality software after every 2-week sprint, using Scrum methodology
  • Work in own product development and internal improvement

What we expect from you

  • Computer Science degree or similar
  • Strong background in Java (5+ years of experience with web-based applications)
  • Spring, Spring Security, SpringBoot
  • Hibernate
  • REST/SOAP
  • Knowledge of software best practices like TDD, refactoring, clean code and DDD
  • Knowledge of a SQL or any relational database
  • Team-player: you are open to ego-free discussions
  • Automation-lover: you hate wasting your time in repetitive tasks, and trust Jenkins to do them for you
  • Scout’s Honour mindset: always leave the code cleaner than you found it

Desire

  • Basic Crypto knowledge
  • Knowledge of openssl
  • Experience working with HSMs (Extra points)

Job description

Developing strong relationships with the customer, connecting with key executives and stakeholders. Liaise between the customer and cross-functional internal teams, ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and improve the entire customer experience. Our ideal candidate can identify customer needs and exceed client expectations. Cradle-to-grave job, from lead collection, drive the sales process and end with cash-collection.

 

Responsibilities

  • Expand the direct customer base, trough lead generation, qualification and follow-up
  • Act as Account Manager for the SEA and NEA regions
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with our business partners
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Keep updated account status and pipeline
  • Work with the founder team and management in defining the GTM approach and strategy

 

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an account manager and solution sales
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to juggle with multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Willing to work in an international and distributed team, share progress with teammates and accept suggestions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, savvy in negotiation and presentation in English and Chinese, Bahasa desired.
  • Background in the Cyber and Mobile Security Industry, with an existing network of contacts in the market is a plus
  • Hunter and closer DNA
  • Experience working for small organizations/start-ups, in aggressive growth mode
  • Travel required across the SEA and NEA regions
